Claude Carmichael
Founder and Principal
Claude Carmichael is President of Carmichael Creel Investments. Claude graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst as designated by the CFA Institute. He is also a member of The CFA Society of Nashville.
Claude established Carmichael Capital, Inc. in New York City in 1993, which evolved in to Carmichael Creel Investments in 2022. He was previously a supervisory analyst and portfolio manager with WR Lazard & Co for five years, a vice-president of Oppenheimer & Co. for seven years, and a financial futures specialist with Merrill Lynch for two years, all in New York City. He is a past member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
Claude is a native of Norfolk, Virginia, and now lives in historic Franklin, Tennessee, in the Nashville metropolitan area with his wife Dorene and two adult children.

Mindy Sullivan
Director of Operations
Mindy Sullivan serves as Director of Operations for Carmichael Creel Investments. Mindy earned an accounting degree from SUNY Albany and an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut. She started her career as an auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick in New York City where she earned her CPA designation. Mindy then joined CIGNA Corporation in Hartford, Connecticut, serving in financial and operations positions in the Health Care division before moving to Retirement and Investment Services. Mindy held several managerial positions in Securities Operations and Real Estate Reporting before transferring to the Investment Team as Vice President in Asset Management.
Mindy moved to Brentwood, Tennessee, in 2003 and enjoyed her role as a stay-at-home mom. With two growing children, she restarted her professional career with Carmichael Creel Investments where her organizational skills and attention to detail serve our team in the areas of client service, database management and reporting, as well as support to our investment advisors.
